Earn up to 19.5 contact hours for Certified Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR). Attendance at the ASHHRA 52nd Annual Conference would qualify for CHHR renewal content codes 1-5 and education type code 1 (educational program).

ASHHRA is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for the SHRM-CPSM or SHRM-SCPSM

Approved for 19.5 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®)

The ASHHRA annual conference and pre-conference has been pre-approved by the HR Certification Institute for 19.5 general recertification credit hours, 13.5 strategic business management recertification credit hours and 1.0 California specific recertification credit hour.

This program includes the ASHHRA Pre-Conference Learning Sessions on Saturday, September 24, and the Annual Conference Learning Sessions beginning on Sunday, September 25, through Tuesday, September 27. Attendance at the Annual Conference Learning Sessions, Opening Ceremony, Health Care Strategy Breakfast and Closing Ceremony will earn up to 13.5 general recertification credit hours and 9.0 strategic business management credit hours by attending strategic business management learning sessions during the conference.

Attendance at the pre-conference learning sessions on Saturday, September 24, will earn up to 6.0 general recertification credit hours and 6.0 strategic business management credit hours.

Attendance at the California specific session Health Care Employee Safety – Current and Emerging Issues will earn 1.0 California recertification credit hour.


ACHE Recertification
ASHHRA is authorized to award pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for this program toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Participants in this program wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit should indicate their attendance when submitting application to the American College of Healthcare Executives for advancement or recertification.

This educational offering has been reviewed by the National Continuing Education Review Service (NCERS) of the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) and approved for 22.75 clock hours and 14.75 participant hours.
