Many travel budgets and training budgets have been reduced, which means that regardless of the merits of attending the ASHHRA 48th Annual Conference & Exposition, you'll probably need to justify the expense and your time away from the office. We understand that, and we are here to help. While other HR organizations have increased their registration fees, ASHHRA fees have remained the same for the last 10 years. We also have generous partners providing opportunities for financial assistance through the scholarships and grants below, and we hope you take advantage of them.

Purpose
To provide financial assistance to those interested in attending the ASHHRA 48th Annual Conference & Exposition. The objective is to provide health care HR practitioners with a venue to receive educational tools and resources, in addition to networking opportunities that will allow them to become successful health care HR leaders. Total package is not to exceed $1,500.
Guidelines
- The scholarship must be used to attend the ASHHRA 48th Annual Conference & Exposition only, is non-transferable and considered taxable income
- Deadline extended! A completed application and professional resume must be submitted by Thursday, May 31, 2012 to be considered for the scholarship
- Recipients must prepare a one-page summary report on the conference to be published in their respective regional consultant’s newsletter.
Criteria
- Applicant must show financial need for the scholarship
- Applicant must attend the conference
- Consideration will be given to those who are new to the field of health care human resources
- Consideration will be given to those who are first-time conference attendees.
What scholarship will not fund
- Attendees that have their conference fees paid by their employer
- Organizations
- Consultants / Non-practitioners.
Deadline for Submission

The scholarship will be awarded to one candidate per region and presented during the special recognition reception at the annual conference on Saturday, September 22, 2012.
