The ASHHRA Housing Bureau online reservation system via Passkey is officially closed.
Beginning August 25, contact the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel - Reservations Department at 1-866-837-4213 to make or change a hotel reservation. Be sure to identify yourself as part of the ASHHRA annual conference.

The ASHHRA 47th Annual Conference & Exposition will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center, conveniently located in downtown Phoenix, only 15 minutes from Sky Harbor Airport.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel, located one block north of the convention center. This 31-story hotel redefines the city's skyline with chic, modern meeting space, restaurants with exceptional city views, a large outdoor pool, and an onsite fitness center.
ASHHRA has contracted rooms at discounted group rates and assumes financial risk by contracting with the Sheraton for a large room block. If our contracted room block is not met, ASHHRA is financially liable for penalties. By reserving rooms at the Sheraton via our authorized ASHHRA Housing Bureau utilizing Passkey, attendees and exhibitors continue to help ASHHRA leverage the most economical rates for future conferences in desirable cities.

The official room block discounted rate and availability are not guaranteed if reservations are made after August 11, 2011. After this date, the official ASHHRA room block is released and the hotel may charge significantly higher rates. All reservations require a credit card to be used as a guarantee with a valid through event month and expiration date of September 2011. A credit card guarantee in the amount of one night's stay plus tax is required on all reservations and is processed upon arrival at the hotel.
Cancellation Policy
The credit card is only a guarantee and will not be charged unless the reservation is cancelled in its entirety after August 11, 2011. Reservations may be cancelled through August 11, without penalty. After this date, a non-refundable cancellation processing fee of $25 will be charged for any reservation cancelled in its entirety. Any reservation cancelled in its entirety within 72 hours of arrival is subject to one night’s room and tax penalty.
An early departure fee of one night's room and tax will be applied if you do not notify the hotel of your change in departure prior to arrival or at check-in.
Emailed acknowledgements will be sent after each reservation booking, modification, or cancellation. Through August 24, 2011, please contact the ASHHRA Housing Bureau with any questions at hsgcoor@visitphoenix.com or voice message line 602-452-6269. You must contact the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel directly beginning August 25 to obtain availability and rate information (see Update ).
SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING HOTEL RESERVATIONS:
ASHHRA has designated only ONE location to book your hotel rooms for the conference – ASHHRA Housing Bureau. You might receive calls from companies offering you special room rates. They do not represent ASHHRA, and we cannot guarantee their rates and have no control over their cancellation policy, so please make your reservations through the ASHHRA Housing Bureau only.

For faster results, we strongly encourage reserving your rooms online. Should you require pre or post dates, email the ASHHRA housing coordinator at hsgcoor@visitphoenix.com for hotel availability.
DO NOT reserve your room directly with the hotel until after the ASHHRA Housing Bureau is closed on August 24, 2011, midnight EST.
Reservations can also be made by downloading the Hotel Conference Housing Form and faxing it to the Housing Bureau at 602-256-5292.
PLEASE NOTE: ASHHRA has not contracted with any expo or travel offices to manage hotel reservations. Please reserve your overnight guest room only on the ASHHRA website through the ASHHRA Housing Bureau utilizing Passkey.

Ground Transportation
Ground transportation to and from Sky Harbor Airport to the Sheraton is available via taxi, Execucar, or Super Shuttle Service. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice.
Taxis
Taxis are located in the baggage claim area. The one-way fare to the Sheraton is approximately $20-$25. The hotel is approximately 5 miles (15 minutes) from the airport.
Execucar
Advance reservations are required. The sedan rate between the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel is $25 + driver gratuity.
