Judith has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field including recruitment support; critical care nursing and nursing administration. As a Nurse Recruitment Administrator for the Western Region of AMI, she managed recruitment and retention for 18 hospitals. In addition, she developed a recruitment software program for tracking responses, retrieving candidates’ information and measuring results—long before modern applicant tracking systems were widely available. Judith has spent 16+ years in the recruitment advertising and marketing industry and is a nationally known expert. Judith’s memberships include NAHCR, AONE and SHRM. Judith is a frequent speaker at local, regional and national events. Judith joined Bernard Hodes Group in 2007.

Ensure that your hospital is rewarding and holding managers accountable for their employee relations and performance management responsibilities; that how managers spend their time is in alignment with the organization's stated values. Facilitate direct, honest, and respectful conflict management within and between shifts, work units and job classifications; Utilize an organizational protocol for problem-solving in which people follow the chain of command, avoiding indirect, triangulated or passive-aggressive communication. Teach managers their legal rights and responsibilities relative to performance management and holding employees accountable for outstanding technical/clinical skills, customer service, teamwork, and fiscal prudence.
