Special Annual Conference Scholarship
When applying, please follow the process required for each category. Application guidelines are listed on the application forms.
Who Can Apply?
- ASHHRA members in health care HR
- Non-ASHHRA members in health care HR
- College seniors majoring in HR
The Foundation will not fund the following:
- Endowment or capital campaigns
- Fees or stipends to financial planners
- Political organizations
- Books and magazines; articles or advertising in professional journals
- Fundraising activities such as benefits or charitable dinners
- General operating expenses
- Loan or loan-guarantees to entities
- Individual development accounts
- Programs that do not advance the Foundation mission and purpose
- Organizations with financial deficits

Scholarship
The Foundation encourages lifelong learning by providing scholarships for continuing education courses, ASHHRA conferences and other related educational pursuits.
Submission & Review Process
- Applicant submits completed Scholarship Application (click here to download application) Foundation Advisory Committee (FAC) schedules interview with prospective awardee
- The FAC reviews each package and makes award decision
- The FAC sends approval/denial letter to each applicant
The ASHHRA Foundation reserves the right to limit applicants to ONE submission each calendar year. All subsequent submissions from the same applicant will be considered invalid.

Education
Educational grants are available for academic studies in health care management, legal and regulatory compliance, and other critical areas in health care human resources management.

Research
The Foundation supports research and development of best practices in health care management, diversity, leadership, employee retention, workforce shortages and other health care HR-related topics.
