Hyatt Regency on the River Walk
The ASHHRA 45th Annual Conference and Exposition will be held at the Hyatt Regency conveniently located at 151 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago.

The special discounted ASHHRA Hyatt Regency room rate per night is $239.00 + 15.4% tax for a single or double standard room.

To take advantage of the special ASHHRA rates, book your reservation no later than
October 1. Discounted rates are not guaranteed if reservations are made after the
deadline date. A credit card deposit in the amount of one night’s stay plus tax is required on all reservations and is processed upon arrival at the hotel. 

ASHHRA has contracted rooms at a discounted group rate at the Hyatt Regency.  ASHHRA assumes financial risk by contracting with hotels for large blocks at discounted rates.  If our contracted room block is not met, ASHHRA is financially liable for penalties.  By reserving rooms at the Hyatt Regency via Passkey, attendees continue to help ASHHRA leverage the most economical rates for future conferences in desirable cities.

Room cancellations received after October 1, 2009 will be assessed a $50 cancellation/processing fee. Your full one night's deposit will be forfeited if you cancel 72 hours or less before arrival date.

Ground Transportation to and from Chicago’s O’Hare International and Midway Airports
to downtown and the Hyatt Regency Chicago (Published rates as of February 2009):

Located in the airport baggage claim areas. 
The one-way fare is approximately $40 at O’Hare and $30 at Midway.

Public Transportation

To and from O’Hare is available on the CTA Blue Line at the cost of $1.75/each way. The closest stop to the Hyatt Regency is at Clark and Lake – about a 6 block walk or $5 cab ride.

To and from Midway is available on the CTA Orange Line at the cost of $1.75/each way. The closest stop to the Hyatt Regency is at State and Lake – about a 4 block walk or $4 cab ride.
