In recognition of his outstanding leadership, innovation, and management accomplishments, Kevin has ranked five times in Modern Healthcare Magazine’s “100 Most Powerful People in Healthcare” list. He was also ranked in the 2007 Ebony Magazine “150 Most Influential Blacks in America.” Among his many awards, he received the ACHE Robert Hudgens Award as the Young Healthcare Executive of the Year in 1993, and the 2006 National Diversity Healthcare Leader of the Year from the National Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Hill, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, FACHE VP/Nurse Executive, Central Baptist Hospital Lynette Walker, RN, PhD Director, HR, Central Baptist Hospital The supply of knowledgeable RN’s will soon outpace the demand. The graying of the nursing workforce, increased retirements, an increased ratio of new graduates, a shortage of nurse educators, and insufficient research all contribute to the loss of knowledge within the profession.
